I am curious, how does this technique differ from Matrix Energetics?

I took Matrix several years ago and I am speaking from that experience. ME does not identify the original trauma that created the issue at hand. Matrix teaches that you create a form and collapse it through your own creation. Reference Point Therapy uses an entirely different format. You find the original trauma, allow the change and watch. The person may have a misaligned reference point, for example Universal Love or security, then this is allowed to change. RPT also says that there are key points in our development that may hold the trauma that we are bringing forward into the now.
